The majestic structure was built in 1895, in a neo-classical style. Designed by Ottoman architect Hovsep Aznavur and commissioned by philanthropist Migirdiç Sanasaryan, the Han Inn lived as a building full of offices where all rents were paid into a foundation for Sanasaryan School. The Sanasaryan Han has been restored to its original glory, honouring its heritage as a beacon of education and with a curated collection of artifacts & antique books waiting to be discovered. Within the light-bathed atrium of the Sanasaryan Han - a grand chandelier takes centre stage and offering global explorers a rare luxury stay in a storied destination. The hotel is located steps away from treasured landmarks such as the Spice and Grand Bazaar, the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, and the Karaköy.
